2. Educational Purpose Only
The information provided by The Animal Behavior Center is for educational purposes.
Our content is designed to help learners better understand animal behavior, training, enrichment, antecedent arrangement, reinforcement, cooperative care, and behavior-change strategies.
Our educational content does not replace veterinary care, medical diagnosis, emergency care, legal advice, or in-person safety assessment.
If an animal is sick, injured, in pain, showing sudden behavior changes, or presenting a safety risk to people or other animals, you should contact a qualified veterinarian or appropriate local professional.
3. No Veterinary or Medical Advice
The Animal Behavior Center does not diagnose medical conditions or provide veterinary treatment.
Behavior can be affected by health, pain, environment, learning history, stress, and many other variables. You are responsible for seeking veterinary care when needed.
Participation in a class, course, membership, consultation, or community does not create a veterinary-client-patient relationship.
4. No Guaranteed Results
Animal behavior and training outcomes vary.
Results may depend on many factors, including the animal’s health, learning history, environment, motivation, reinforcement history, consistency of implementation, safety considerations, and the actions of the people involved.
We do not guarantee specific behavior outcomes, timelines, training results, income results, professional results, or membership outcomes.
5. Safety and Responsibility
Working with animals can involve risk, including bites, scratches, falls, property damage, injury to people, injury to animals, stress, escape, or other unintended outcomes.
You are responsible for:
•Assessing whether an activity is safe for you and your animal
•Using appropriate barriers, distance, protective equipment, and management
•Stopping any activity that appears unsafe
•Seeking veterinary or in-person professional support when needed
•Following applicable laws, regulations, and facility policies
•Supervising animals and people appropriately.
Do not attempt any training exercise, handling procedure, or behavior-change plan that you believe is unsafe for you, another person, or an animal.
6. Consultations
Private consultations are designed to provide individualized education, observations, and recommendations based on the information you provide. You understand that consultation recommendations are limited by the accuracy and completeness of the information, videos, history, and observations you share. Consultations may include behavior, training, and enrichment recommendations, but they do not replace veterinary evaluation, diagnosis, emergency intervention, or in-person risk assessment.
